Val Thorens

Have you ever pictured yourself skiing or snowboarding in the area that feels like the top of the world, with great powder, snow-capped mountain peaks around you as far as your eyes can see?

If yes, then Val Thorens is your best bet. Not only is it the highest winter ski resort in the whole of Europe (the village is located at the altitude of 2300 m), but also it is known for great entertainment off the piste, which you can enjoy at the end of the skiing day.

Due to its altitude VT is open from late November till May and is considered to be a snow-sure destination, even when other European ski resorts wind down. For that reason, and also thanks to the resort’s good party vibe, it enjoys great popularity among foreigners. Visit Val Thorens to have the time of your life!

  • Pick a track from smooth and easy slopes to bumpy black or off-piste runs
  • Enjoy 600 kms of pistes of the Three Valleys available on your pass
  • Ski all the way down a 12-km slope from Cime de Caron to Les Menuires – one of the longest runs in Europe
  • Drop in to a café at the top of Cime de Caron (3200m), grab a warming drink and take pleasure in the jaw-dropping panoramic views
  • Revel with friends in Europes’ some of the best après-ski events… Just leave some energy for skiing next day
